Hyderabad; July 2 ( PMI ): Seldom would one have come across such concerted and action-packed mass initiatives being taken by any government at one time as is being done now in Telangana. The three flagship programmes — Pattana Pragathi, Palle Pragathi and Haritha Haram — clubbed together this year, took off to an enthusiastic start on Thursday with Ministers, District Collectors, elected representatives and officials participating in joint programmes in their respective areas.
What is fascinating is that the three programmes, aimed at overall and sustained development of both urban and rural areas, will at once address several issues, including environmental, green cover, civic, hygienic and health, and more importantly bring people together for a common cause. ( PMI )
