Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Leaves for Davos to Attend WEF Annual Meeting

At the WEF meeting in Davos in 2025, Telangana secured investment commitments worth Rs 1.78 lakh

Hyderabad, Jan 19 (PMI) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy departed for Davos, Switzerland, on Monday, January 19, to participate in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister inaugurated the renovated shrine of tribal goddesses Sammakka and Saralamma at Medaram in Mulugu district. He later left for the Swiss ski resort town, official sources said.

At the Telangana Pavilion in Davos, Revanth Reddy is scheduled to hold separate meetings with the heads of leading global companies, including Google, Salesforce, Unilever, Honeywell, L’Oréal, Novartis, Tata Group, DP World, Infosys, and Cisco. He will also take part in roundtable discussions with international delegates.

During the meetings, the Chief Minister will focus on attracting new investments and encouraging the expansion of industries already operating in the state, particularly in sectors such as information technology, artificial intelligence, life sciences, and manufacturing.

Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to showcase the state government’s ‘Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document’ and highlight Telangana’s investment potential at the global forum.

State IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, and senior officials are accompanying the Chief Minister as part of the delegation.

The vision document, which aims to transform Telangana into a USD three trillion economy by 2047, was unveiled by the Chief Minister during the two-day ‘Telangana Rising Global Summit’ held in Hyderabad in December last year.
