Hyderabad’(Shoukat-PMI). In a major administrative overhaul, the Telangana government has issued a fresh round of IPS officer transfers and postings aimed at strengthening policing and enhancing administrative efficiency across the state. The reshuffle includes several key appointments within the Hyderabad police system as well as significant changes across districts and specialised units.
Key Appointments in Hyderabad
Devendra Singh Chauhan (IPS, 1997) has been appointed Additional Director General of Police (Personnel) at the DGP’s office in Hyderabad. He will continue to hold the additional charge of Multizone-II.
Parimala Hana Nutan Jacob (IPS, 2009), previously Joint Commissioner of Police (Administration), Hyderabad City, has been transferred as Deputy Inspector General of Police, CID, Hyderabad.
Chetana Mylabathula (IPS, 2013), earlier Superintendent of Police, Women Safety Wing, Hyderabad, has been posted as Deputy Director, RBVRR Telangana State Police Academy.
Srinivasulu (IPS, 2006), Inspector General of Police, CID, has been moved to the post of Additional Commissioner of Police (Crimes), Hyderabad City.
Sneha Mehra (IPS, 2018), DCP South Zone, Hyderabad City, has been transferred as Superintendent of Police, Vikarabad.
