New Delhi, Aug.5 (PMI): The Telugu Desam party on Monday welcomed the decision of the Union Government to split Jammu & Kashmir as a lasting solution to the prolonged knotty problem. Rajya Sabha MP of the Party K. Ravindra Kumar urged the Union government to take immediate steps to ensure safety and security of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
