Hyderabad, Telangana State BJP has severely condemned the “abusive” language used by cine hero and TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and lodged a complaint with the police here today.
A delegation of party leaders led by BJP MLC and Greater Hyderabad party president N Ramchender Rao went to the Osmania University police station and lodged a complaint against Balakrishna stating that Hindupur TDP MLA Balakrishna used abusive words against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The “abusive” language especially directed towards the Prime Minister was a grave crime. Ramchender Rao has requested the police to register a case against Balakrishna for using highly objectionable and lewd gesticulations pointing to the Prime Minister.
The BJP MLC in the complaint said “while expressing a grievance, if any, in the public forum is the right of any individual. But there was need of maintaining decorum while articulating, especially when the grievances involve the Constitutional functionaries and people with eminence. Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister of the country and the most revered leader of the people, he asserted.
Demanding action against Balakrishna, Ramchender Rao said the lanauage used by former deeply hurt the sentiments of the people in the entire country.
