Warangal, July 22: A two-day State executive meeting of Telangana BJP began here today which would take stock of the prevailing political situation besides preparing an action plan to strengthen the party further to face the ensuing 2019 elections in the State.
The party would discuss in detail on a road map for strengthening the party and give utmost importance to propagate development mantra of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The aim of the State party was to emerge as an alternative to the TRS and come to power in 2019 elections.
Besides Union minister Bandaru Dattatraya, party national general secretary Murlidhar Rao, party MLAs, including floor leader G Kishan Reddy and other leaders are attending the meeting. After the meeting, the party would organize meetings in districts in a phased manner. Party district presidents and secretaries are also attending the meeting.
