Hyderabad April 10 (Newslines Hyderabad): The Inspector of Police Vanathalipuram has arrested three person on the complaint lodge by Sri Angam Weapon, S/o. D Benjamin and Thangkai Haokip, S/o. Sonkholal Haokip, both are students and pursuing B. tech 2nd year in St. Mary’s Group of institutions namely (i) Kuchamalla shankaraiah S/O Veeraiah, age: 48yrs, occ: security guard, R/O: New Mettuguda, Tarnaka, Hyderabad (ii) Dileep kumar Occ: security guard (iii) Derangula Venkat Ramana S/O Venkatesh, age: 29yrs, occ: store manager, R/O: Prashanthnagar, Vanasthalipuram all are employees of Star Super Market Vanasthalipuram.
According to the complainants they went to Star Super Market and there the Security Guards denied their entry in to the super Market because of their facial appearance.
Commissioner of Police Rachakonda Sri Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS has personally interacted with both the victim students about their wellbeing and handed over Rice bags & pulse packets to them. CP has started his career in IPS in 1997 at Manipur state so having knowledge of Manipuri language, society & culture. Police have reassured them to reach in case of any emergency, and emergency contact shared with them. CP Rachakonda has warned super market management that any discrimination on basis of caste, religion,race , language etc at public places will not be tolerated. (Newslines Hyderabad)
