Hyderabad, Jan.20 (PMI): In a significant development there might be a change of guard in Telangana state as senior ministers, and key TRS leaders vouching for it.
According to political circles heir apparent and TRS working president and IT Minister KT Rama Rao to be anointed as chief Minister replacing his father incumbent K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Health Minister Etala Rajender made such remarks that KTR may be taking over the mantle. Rajender said what is wrong if KTR gets, elevated to the Chief Minister post KCR may take a call any time in this regard he said adding to a growing debate on the same.
Similarly another key minister in KCR cabinet and his close aide Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Wednesday came in support of the same. When media asked on the same, Srinivas Yadav has said that what is wrong if KTR gets Chief Minister Post. KCR may take a call any time in this regard he said.
Srinivas Yadav remarks giving strength to the ongoing debate of anointing of KTR as the next Chief Minister. He sought to know whether KTR is not capable to be the Chief Minister.
Srinivas Yadav repeatedly said that KTR is very much efficient and capable to hold the top post to head the state. The minister asked the media to tell whether KTR who is taking care of all development programs is not fit for the top post in the state.
Recently council chairman G Sukhender Reddy, Speaker, P Srinivas Reddy too gave their support of KTR to be the next chief minister. They probably revealed KCR mind to appoint KTR in his place and elevate finance minister T Harish Rao to be the TRS president. Interestingly, two MLAs from Nizamabad gave similar opinions.
