Hyderabad Sep 27 (PMI): Sri Stephen Raveendra IPS, Commissioner of Police Cyberabad paid rich tribute Konda Laxman Bapuji (the Telangana Freedom Fighter) on his 107 birth anniversary.
The Commissioner of Police Cyberabad along with Jt. CP Shri Avinash Mohanty, IPS, and other officers garlanded the portrait of Konda Laxman Bapuji, paid floral tributes and observed silence in respect of the departed literary and cultural leader of Telangana at conference hall in Cyberabad CP office.
Bapuji was born in Wankidi Vllage in Komaram Bheem district of erstwhile Adilabad district. Bapuji was inspired by the ideas of Mahatma Gandhi and followed his principles and he participated participated in many movements including the separate statehood movement.
The freedom fighter of Telangana during his entire life, strives hard for uplifting weaker sections of people and fought for the statehood of Telangana, and he stood among the greatest personalities like Kaloji Narayana Rao, Professor Jayashankar. As an advocate he helped and served the poor for free.
Further CP Cyberabad said all of us should re-dedicate for the development of the state and nation.
