Hyderabad April 18 (PMI): The Commissioner of Police Hyderabad City Sri. Anjani Kumar (IPS) visited containment zones and inspected areas of Chandrayangutta limits and other places in morning with his team to check the situation of the zones. There was a positive case of coronavirus in Al- Mustafa Colony of Chadrayangutta area and the members of the family of patient were also infected with the virus, therefore the area has been contained and joint team of Police department, GHMC Department and Revenue Department was formed to work 24 hours in the area said the Commissioner.
Sri Anjani Kumar (IPS) has also informed that the necessary arrangements have been made for the people living in the containment zone and the essential items will be delivered to their home. A helpline number is available in all containment zones by GHMC Department to meet the emergencies and delivery of food, grocery, medical items, etc. The purpose of all containment zones is to stop movement of people going out and coming in to cut the chain of infection as this is the best way to stop the spread pandemic.
On this occasion I would like to request all to follow the guidelines and instructions set by Government for your safety and I warn those who are taking this issue very lightly and moving in the area without valid reason we will seize the bikes and send them to jail if required. It’s not only the responsibility of Health Department, Police Department or Revenue Department but every individual, colony or locality people need to show self-discipline in these challenging times and do not allow anyone to go out or come in as this virus may reach you homes said CP Anajani Kumar.
