Hyderabad’Nov.1 (PMI):Cyberabad Traffic DCP T Srinivasa Rao said that a special drive is being conducted against stop line violations in Cyberabad Police Commissionerate from today.
DCP Traffic Cyberabad T Srinivasa Rao, IPS., launched this special drive today at Wipro Circle.
On this occasion, DCP Traffic Cyberabad T Srinivasa Rao IPS said… On the orders of Commissioner of Police Cyberabad Mr. Stephen Ravindra, IPS., a special drive will be conducted for the safety of pedestrians from today (1st November) against stop line violations. According to Section 177 of the Motor Vehicles Act, a fine of Rs 100 will be imposed on those who cross the stop line and stop at the zebra crossing or before the signal. Pedestrians are also advised to cross the road at zebra crossings.
“Pedestrian safety is our first priority,” he said.
ADCP Srinivas Reddy, Madapur ACP Hanumantha Rao and Gachibowli Traffic SHO Naveen participated in this drive.(Press media of india)
