Hyderabad’ 30 (PMI NEWS) In view of the upcoming district elections, District SP Smt. Sneha Mehra, IPS, held a comprehensive review meeting with police officers through a Zoom video conference on Tuesday. During the meeting, she issued clear instructions on the election process, security measures, and the implementation of a three-phase lockdown across the district.
The SP emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and order during the election period. She directed officials to identify sensitive and problematic polling stations in advance, deploy additional police personnel at such locations, and ensure continuous monitoring.
She further instructed officers to prepare a list of old offenders, rowdy elements, habitual law violators, and individuals suspected of creating disturbances during elections. SP Mehra ordered that such persons be bound over promptly to prevent any disruption of law and order.
