Women’s Day celebrations in Cyberabad
Hyderabad’March 9 (PMI):Cyberabad: In celebration of International Women’s Day (March 8) , Women’s Day celebrations were held today in Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.
On this occasion Telangana State DGP Shri Anjani Kumar , IPS. , said that social service should be prioritized along with self protection. Police system is like a big family. If there are any problems for the female staff, they should bring it to the attention of the superiors.
The DGP awarded prizes to the winners of the competitions organized as part of the Women’s Day celebrations. Women should be self-confident. He wants to be an inspiration to the society.
Later, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Mr. Stephen Ravindra , IPS. , speaking first congratulated everyone on the stage. Happy Women’s Day to all the women working under Cyberabad Commissionerate. This year we are celebrating Women’s Day with the theme “EmbraceEquity – DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality”. With this slogan, the United Nations organizes International Women’s Day every year on March 8. International Women’s Day is a global day to celebrate the social, economic , cultural and political achievements of women . He said that the largest number of women are performing duties in the IT corridor. He said that She Teams will provide protection to all of them. Parents want to treat boys and girls equally. Girls should be confident. If the staff have any problems, they should bring it to their attention. Professionally, they want to learn new things constantly. Learning should be a continuous process in life. They want to show their specialty on any subject.
After that, Women and Children Safety Wing DCP Nikita Pant. IPS. , saying that women are excelling in many fields such as education , medicine , business , politics , sports , banking , space and technology and are taking steps towards the achievement of women’s empowerment. As part of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, She Teams organizes many programs throughout the year for the safety of women.
Later, DCP Mrs. Kavitha said that women who were once confined to the home are now excelling in all fields. Women want to reach the top in their chosen field. Educating a person only educates that person. But if a woman is educated , the whole family and a generation will be educated.
DCP Madapur Mrs. Shilpavalli said that women play different roles like mother , sister , elder sister and arthangi. He said that it is a great thing for women to manage the house and duties at the same time.
Later, ADCP Crimes Kavitha said that there are many opportunities for women in today’s society. They want to make good use of them. Cyberabad police have taken many programs for the safety of women.
