GIST OF THE CASE:
This is a Simple Hurt case, wherein the accused person C. Srinivas beat the complainant R. Laxman with stone on his head and right hand causing bleeding injuries for throwing mud infront of his house at Shivaji Nagar, Uppuguda, Hyderabad.
INVESTIGATION & PROSECUTION:

 Deputy Commissioner of Police (South Zone) P Sai Chaitanya IPS’on Friday, as stated in a press release

On 24-07-2018 at 0900 hours, the complainant Sri R. Laxman R/o Shivaji Nagar, Uppuguda, Hyderabad, reported the matter at PS Chatrinaka. Soon after receiving the complaint, registered a case in Crime No.181/2018, U/s.324 IPC and investigation was taken up by the then S.I. of PS Chatrinaka Sri T. Sai Kumar. During the course of investigation, the accused person C. Srinivas was served Notice U/s.41 (A) Cr.P.C. on 25-07-2018. In this case (8) witnesses were cited and laid the charge sheet within stipulated time.

Sri D. Durga Prasad, Hon’ble Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, conducted the trial into the matter. During the Trial all the witnesses i.e., (05) members were examined in the Court and all of them has deposed their evidence and answered in cross examination done by defense. Basing on the merits of documentary evidence as well as statements deposed by the witnesses, Sri D. Durga Prasad, Hon’ble Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, has pronounced the judgment on 01-09-2023, declaring that the accused is found guilty and convicted for Simple Imprisonment for six (6) months.(PMI)
