SHE TEAMS REACHING OUT TO VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VOILENCE: RACHAKONDA POLICE

Hyderabad April 16 (Newslines): The Rachakonda Commissionerate had received petitions regarding crime against women during this lockdown through different social media platforms.

The Rachakonda Police noticed that during the lock down period there may be cases of domestic violence in the commissionerate which are not getting reported due to movement restrictions and lack of public transport.

Hence, regarding this CP Mahesh M Bhagwat, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, has taken a serious note and hereby appealing  all the women folk of Rachakonda Commissionerate that, if any case of domestic violence is there it will be taken as first priority  and  as per the willingness of the victims, counseling will be given to the family members at their respective Family counseling centers i.e., Saroornagar,  Uppal, Kushaiguda, Vanasthalipuram, Neredmet and Bhongir with professional counselors and identity of victims will be kept confidential.
