Hyderabad April 7 (Newslines Hyderabad): The confusing prevailing in the Shia community about the citing of the Moon for the month of Sha’baan ul Mouazzam of 1441 Hijri with some Ulama o Zakereen declaring the siting of the moon on the 29th Rajab ul Murajab while other say that it was on 30th. While the rest of the Muslim sects are flowing the citing of the Moon on 30th. Keeping in mind with the importance of the Holy month of Sha’baan in which Wiladat of many of the family members of the Ahlulbaith (a.s) are there and the Special prayers of Shabe Baraat, Neem e Shaaban and the Wiladath Basadath of Imam e Zamana (Atfs), Newslines Hyderabad took up this matter and verified about the authenticity of the date.
After getting conformation of the citing of the moon on 29th Rajab ul Murajab and declaration of 1st Sha’baan ul Mouazam of 1441 Hijri corresponding to 26th March, 2020 by Moulana Ahmad Ali Abedi the representative of Grand Ayatullah Sayyid Ali Hussaini Al Shistani and also the confirmation from the office of the Grand Ayatullah the confusion has been laid to rest.
Except one Alim in Lucknow and around two Alim’s of Hyderabad the rest of the Shia community throughout India is observing the 29th day moon citing and according to that the Shabe Baraat is to be observed on Wednesday 8th April 2020. (Newslines Hyderabad)
