Servant Arrested in Goshamahal for Gold Theft Worth ₹8.75 Lakh

Hyderabad, Sept.30(PMI): The Goshamahal Police have arrested a woman domestic worker for stealing gold ornaments worth ₹8.75 lakh (178 grams) from her employer’s residence in Begum Bazar.

The accused, Nandini Kamble (27), a resident of Puranapool, Dhoolpet, was apprehended by the Goshamahal Police Crime Team on Monday. Police recovered all the stolen property, which included four gold bangles, two gold chains, a bracelet, a necklace, a pair of earrings, and a ring.

According to police, the complainant, Sri Gurmeet Singh of Begum Bazar, reported the theft of his gold ornaments on September 29. Following technical investigation and surveillance, police traced the suspect and swiftly arrested her, recovering the stolen ornaments intact.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of DCP G. Chandra Mohan, Addl. DCP Krishna Goud, and ACP S. Sudarshan. The investigation team, led by SHO M. Srinivasulu and Detective Inspector D. Venkat Reddy, along with crime staff, was praised by senior officers for solving the case quickly.(pressmediaofindia.com)
