Hyderabad/Cyberabad Aug 1 (PMI): Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) in association with Cyberabad Traffic Police (CTP) today conducted a virtual session on Road Safety for Raheja Mind Space IT Employees.
In recent times it is found that, even though there is COVID threat and less traffic, the number of accidents have not come down and it shows the human behavior while commuting.
Cyberabad DCP Traffic Sri SM Vijay Kumar, IPS said.. it is the human behavior while commuting which needs to be changed due to which these many accidents are taking place. He has taken the example of a Minor met dropping his Mother and while going home due to no knowledge on Traffic Rules he has changed the lane and got under a heavy vehicle and met with a fatal accident and died on the spot.
He has explained to all the participants how important are the road safety norms and traffic rules for self and co-commuters. Prior to DCP MR Venkat, joint Secretary (Traffic Forum), SCSC has started the virtual meeting with introduction of SCSC and its initiatives for the safety and security of the Society.
DCP Sir also advised all to try to avoid driving on ORR at nights and also take some rest when feel drowsy.
DCP Sir suggested all the IT parks to ensure all the two wheelers wearing helmets and that too ISI Standards, the new license seekers should undergo Driving Training and take license, people should learn traffic rules and driving regulations, support the traffic Police on Ground – stop and answer all the questions and show documents.
The participants have praised the services of Cyberabad Police and SCSC for launching the Ambulance Services, taking up blood donation, Plasma donation, etc.,
