Hyderabad, Jan.18 (PMI): The State Bank of India (SBI) has extended the facility to deposit the required amount of Haj expenses in the Haj Committee of India’s account through cheques in favour of ‘yourself’ along with the Bank challan form.
In a media release here today, Mohammed Masiullah Khan, Chairman, and Prof. S. A. Shukoor, Special Officer, Telangana State Haj Committee, said the pilgrims, who have accounts in the SBI, need not draw the amounts from their account and then remit the same in the bank, instead they can fill the Bank Challan Form and issue a Cheque in favour or ‘Yourself’ by entering the amount payable. They said this facility can be availed of in any branch of the SBI. They also requested the pilgrims to make use of this facility. (PMI)
