In Andhra Pradesh, schools will be closed from January 10 to January 18, 2026, giving students a total of 9 days off, with classes resuming on January 19, 2026. In Telangana, the government is expected to announce similar dates, likely from January 10 to January 15, 2026, providing around 6 days of holidays.
The break applies to both government and private schools, allowing students to enjoy the festive season. Additional holidays in both states include January 23 for Vasant Panchami/Saraswati Puja/Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti and January 26 for Republic Day, offering mid-month relief.
