ANKARA: A fight broke out between the Russian representative and the Ukrainian representative at the 30th parliamentary summit of the Parliamentary Assembly for Economic Cooperation in the Black Sea Region.
As confirmed by sources to the “TASS” agency, a member of the Ukrainian delegation taking part in the meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly for Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BABSEC) in Ankara attacked the secretary of the Russian delegation, Valery Stavitsky.
The Russian embassy said it was assisting the victim, adding: “We are in hotel and we are taking the necessary measures. They arrived onconsole and the doctor and we are providing the necessary assistance”.
Olga Timofeeva, acting head of the permanent Russian delegation to Babsec, attending the Babsec meeting in Ankara, filmed the beginning of the incident in the corridors of the hotel.
Last Thursday, members of the Ukrainian delegation tried to disrupt the speech of the Russian delegation at the Babsec meeting.

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Community was founded 30 years ago to provide joint support for strengthening cooperation and partnership in the region.
