Hyderabad’Sept 3(Shoukat-PMI) A high-level coordination meeting was convened at the Exhibition Grounds under the aegis of the Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samiti to review the arrangements for the 46th Mass Ganesh Immersion. The meeting was chaired by Samiti President Sri Raghavareddy and attended by the Commissioners of Police from Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda, along with several mandap organizers.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand, IPS, stressed the importance of ensuring foolproof arrangements for the smooth conduct of the immersion processions. He informed that detailed zone-wise reviews had already been conducted by the police to identify requirements and challenges.
Highlighting the need for comprehensive planning, the Commissioner instructed officials to leave no scope for lapses in security and management. He also appealed to municipal authorities to ensure cleanliness by clearing garbage promptly and to take up urgent repair works such as filling potholes along the immersion routes.
In addition, he advised Ganesh mandap organizers to remain mindful of the height of idols so as to avoid obstructions and to facilitate the smooth flow of processions across different routes.
The meeting reflected the collective efforts of civic bodies, law enforcement agencies, and organizers to ensure that the 46th Mass Ganesh Immersion, one of the city’s largest public events, is conducted in a safe and orderly manner.(pressmediaofindia.com)
