Washington/Tehran: March 22 (Agencies )A US website has made a sensational revelation that, despite intense military and political tensions, indirect contacts between the United States and Iran are still ongoing.
According to the report, although direct negotiations between the two countries have been suspended, Qatar, Egypt, and the United Kingdom are playing a key role in exchanging messages through backchannel diplomacy.
The report further states that both sides have put forward tough conditions.
Washington has demanded that Iran immediately end its uranium enrichment program and guarantee limitations on its missile program for the next five years.

Quoting a US official, the report says that if the United States releases Iran’s frozen assets, there is a possibility that Iran may show flexibility regarding its compensation demands, which could lead to progress in negotiations.
