Hyderabad, April 11 (Press media of india-PMI): In a remarkable display of communal harmony and celebration, an illustrious array of personalities, including Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy gathered at the residence of Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Advisor to the Telangana Government on Thursday to mark the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Distinguished figures from diverse spheres of life converged at Shabbir Ali’s residence in Jubilee Hills to extend their warm wishes on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited Shabbir Ali’s residence early in the morning before his departure to Delhi. He spent an hour with the family and relishing the traditional Eid-ul-Fitr delicacy Sheer Khorma.
In the afternoon, some 150 select guests, including Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, D Sridhar Babu and Ponnam Prabhakar, AICC Telangana Incharge Deepadas Munshi, Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender, Siasat Urdu Daily Editor Amer Ali Khan, TPCC Working president Mohammed Azharuddin, Congress senior leaders K. Jana Reddy, Madhu Yashki Goud, Suresh Kumar Shetkar, Zafar Javeed, Rohin Reddy, Feroz Khan, Syed Nizamuddin, Muzaffarullah Khan, Mateen Shareef, Vijaya Reddy, MLAs, MLCs, chairpersons of various corporations, and other dignitaries attended the delicious lunch hosted by Shabbir Ali. The other guests included Jamaat-e-Islami president Dr Khaled Mubashir, Jamiat-ul-Ulema-e-Hind Telangana & AP Secretary-General Hafiz Peer Khaleeq Ahmed Sabir, Moulana Jaffer Pasha Hussami, Tahreek Muslim Shabban President Mohammed Mushtaq Mallik, Imam of Mecca Masjid Hafiz Mohammed Rizwan Qureshi, and representatives of Ahle Hadees, among others. They were treated to a sumptuous feast featuring a delectable spread of Haleem, Biryani, Double Ka Meetha, and other Hyderabadi dishes and Sheer Khorma.
Shabbir Ali said the Congress Government had made elaborate arrangements for the peaceful conduct of Ramadan festivities for the month. Arrangements at the mosques across Telangana, shops and establishments in Greater Hyderabad were permitted to function till 4 am. (PMI)
