Hyderabad April 17: The private and public sectors have been deeply affected by lockdown implemented to contain the spread of coronavirus. The government is working day and night for the safety of citizen and many individuals, companies and NGOs have contributed in relief funds to help government fight against coronavirus and provide necessary facilities to the citizens. Due to the lockdown some of revenue generating offices of Government Departments such as Municipal Corporation Offices, Registration and Stamps Duty, Postal Services, etc. are not functioning.
The Prime Minister Narendar Modi has hinted towards allowing small businesses to function after April 20 depending upon the situation and number of cases in the country. State Governments can also work around to resume such offices of their revenue generating departments with online facilities available for payment and the department(s) which requires physical presences of citizen can function with limited number of staff and guidelines set by the government. After the lockdown everyone will rush to the offices to get their pending work done and if the government resumes such offices during this period it will also ease the load and burden off the officials when lockdown is removed.
The government has ensured necessary facilities are provided to citizens in all possible forms and the services rendered by Police Department, Health Department, Municipal Workers, etc are highly appreciable. They are working round the clock for the safety of the people and to contain the spread of pandemic. Resuming the revenue generating departments may help government to pay salaries of their staff without any deductions. (Press Media of India)
