Hyderabad Jan 26 (PMI) Republic Day celebrations were held with great pomp at the historic Kotwal House in the city. Hyderabad Police Commissioner Sri V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, attended the event as the chief guest and unfurled the National Flag. He later received the ceremonial guard of honour from police personnel.
The occasion held special historical significance, as this marked the first time since 2002 that a serving City Police Commissioner unfurled the National Flag at Kotwal House. Police personnel expressed their happiness as Commissioner Sajjanar revived this long-standing tradition.
