Hyderabad’Dec 10 (Shoukat-PMI NEWS) The Rein Bazar Police have successfully solved the brutal murder of Shaik Junaid Bin Mohammed Bharmos, 35, by arresting six accused, while six others remain absconding in the case registered under Cr.No.192/2025. The arrests were made following credible information received on December 10, leading to the apprehension of A2 Ali Bin Hamza Al Jabri, A3 Faisal Bin Habeeb Mohammed, A6 Mohammed Maqsood Ali, A7 Syed Asghar Ali, and A8 Mohammed Taher. Later, the prime accused A1 Omer Bin Hamza Al Jabri, a rowdy-sheeter of Rein Bazar PS, was also arrested near Dabirpura Darwaja, Mirchowk, while attempting to escape.
According to DCP South zone Kiran Khare.IPS, the murder stemmed from a prolonged rivalry between the deceased and accused A1 and A2, the sons of notorious rowdy-sheeter Zaffar Pahilwan. The accused were allegedly collecting illegal commissions ranging between ₹1 lakh and ₹2 lakh from individuals buying and selling properties in the area, using threats and intimidation. The deceased, who worked at a rice shop in Yakuthpura, frequently objected to their activities and interfered in their real-estate dealings, which deeply angered the accused. Family disputes between Junaid and accused A4, A5, and A12 further worsened relations. Tensions peaked recently when Junaid opposed the accused’s attempt to extract commission on a property purchased by his friend Farooq in Chandra Nagar, prompting the accused to finalize their plan to eliminate him.
On the night of December 3 at around 10 PM, accused A1, A2, A3, A4, A7, A8, A9, A10, and A11 assembled at A1’s house in Rahmath Nagar before proceeding to Chotapool, Yakuthpura, armed with knives. There, Junaid was standing with property owner Farooq near A6’s residence. Police investigations revealed that A1 and A2 launched the fatal knife attack while A3, A4, and A7 held the victim, preventing him from escaping. Junaid sustained multiple stab wounds and succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
Following the arrests, police seized three knives used in the offence, an Ola electric bike and a Suzuki Burgman used by the accused, and three mobile phones belonging to A2, A6, and A8. Meanwhile, accused A4 Syed Raheem Ghori, A5 Malik Bin Javid Al Jabri, A9 Azar, A10 Zubair, A11 Riyan, and A12 Kulsum remain at large, and special teams have been formed to trace them.
