Hyderabad Jan 10 (PMI): The Hon’ble 1st Special Court at LB Nagar Hon’ble judge Smt. M. Maruthi Devi on 10th January 2020 convicted one rapist Aku Ashok aged 23 years, Resident of Yousufguda, Hyderabad with punishment of 10 years rigorous imprisonment and to pay fined Rs. 1,000/.
According to Police the victim lodge a complaint on 19th September 2013 against the accused Aku Ashok stating that when her husband went to curry point and she was alone in the hut one unknown person entered into the hut and tried to molest her. When she shouted for help the accused closed her mouth and threatened her with dire consequences. While he was leaving the victim’s husband tried to catch him with the help of their neighbor. In this conflict accused pant was tore and fell down on the road. The accused ran away leaving his pant and shirt, one ID card of pharmacy Trainee on which a name of A. Ashok was found. Thus, she requested to take necessary action. After completion of the investigation filed charge sheet against the accused.
The Investigation officer with the assistance of lady Head Constable recorded the victim statement. Further the IO examined the other witnesses and recorded their statements in detail and the victim was sent for medical examination.
During the trial today i.e. 10-01-2020 the Hon’ble 1st Special Court at LB Nagar Hon’ble judge Smt. M. Maruthi Devi convicted the accused A. Ashok with Rigorous Imprisonment for 10 years and fined Rs. 1,000/-.(Press Media of India)
