Rajiv Kumar’s statement in AP condemned

Hyderabad,  Faulting NITI Ayog vice-chairman Rajiv Kumar’s statement that Andhra Pradesh State would be strengthened financially if the Andhra people paying 40 percent of taxes to Telangana government brought back to Andhra Pradesh, Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy alleged that Telangana financial condition turned confused with non-implementation of assurances given toTelangana State in Andhra Pradesh Re-organization Act.

Speaking to the media here on Friday, Ponguleti said it was not proper to Rajiv Kumar to provoke regional feelings at this juncture. Will Andhra Pradesh government give a call to Telugu people living in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Odisha, Gujarat, Delhi and Maharashtra States to come back to Andhra Pradesh and pay taxes only in Andhra Pradesh?, he asked. He advised Rajiv Kumar to stop such provocative statements and help implement the assurances given in Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.
