Hyderabad, Rains which is lashing out city for the last one week once again send normal life out of gear this noon.
In areas such as Uppal, Tilaknagar, LB Nagar, Bahadurpura, Bandlaguda, Nadergul, Karmanghat and others, road stretches got submerged in rain water while several low lying areas witnessed inundation.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) monsoon teams, which were on alert since the rains last week, swung into action and took up works to clear the stagnation and inundations.
GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy visited some areas incouding Bahadurpura , Nehru Zoo park and Ramnaspura . The commissioner, after visiting Nehru Zoo Park , said encroachment of nalas would be cleared.
