Hyderabad sept 7′-Rachakonda SHE-teams booked 36 cases (22 FIRs, 14 petty cases) against eve teasers in the last three weeks and apprehended 38 respondent eve Teasers all are majors. All the respondent eve Teasers were attended the counseling session conducted by Rachakonda SHE teams, at the Commissioner Camp office, Nagole, LB Nagar, along with their Family members and they are counseled by the professional counselors from the Bhumika Women’s Collective (NGO). And the Children in conflict with law also counseled by professional psychologists to bring change in their behavior.
I.Few important cases are here:-
1. This is a case of harassment to girl in the name of love. One 19 yrs, Inter 2nd year , girl student was residing at Saroornagar with her Grandmother’s house. At meantime she had introduction with one accused person Ravi Teja S/o Ramulu, Age: 20 yrs, Occ: Auto Driver, R/o Saroornagar about one and half year ago. The accused also staying in the same colony and this contact become a friendship. Later the accused harassed the complainant by doing phone calls to her and saying that he loved her very much and he said that he will marry her. The accused followed the complainant wherever she goes and troubled her very much even after she denied his love. On 13.08.2018 he sent her morphed photos to her college friends, family and threatened her with dire consequences and asked her to accept his love and to marry him or else he threatened her that he will post morphed photos in Social Media. On her complaint registered a case U/S 354(D), 506 IPC & 3 (2) (Va) of SCs and STs (POA) amendment act 2015 and section 66 (C) IT Act in Saroornagar PS. And the accused person arrested and remanded.
2. This is a case of Harasssing in the name of love. One 27 yrs Pvt. Employee, was residing at Malkajgiri area. And the accused person L.Kiran Kumar Reddy S/o L.Narsa Reddy, aged 38 yrs, Occ: Pvt. Employee, R/o Yousufguda, hyderabad who was her colleague at the time where they worked in Idea Cellular at that time developed friendship and got separated long back, and at present he has been started disturbing her by making abusive phone calls and sending vulgar messages to love him. On her complaint registered a case U/s 354(d) IPC at Malkajgiri PS, And the accused person arrested and remanded.
II. DECOY Operations by our SHE teams:-
1) Kushaiguda SHE team:-
A) On 04-08-2018 at evening hrs our Kushaiguda Sheteam conducted a DECOY operation at Keesara gutta area, and apprehended red-handedly three person’s i.e 1.Y.Pramod S/o Ramu age 23y occ pvt job R/o H.No 1-3-363/364 kavadiguda, thalabasthi.2. M.Mallesh S/o M.pochaiah, age 25y occ pvt job, R/o H.no 4-40 pedhakanjarla, pattancher, 3.B.Mohanrao S/o Krishnamurthi,age 36y occ pvt job R/o plot no 412 Manisha apartment , malkajgiri while they creating nuisance at that public places and teasing girls/women with lewd comments. Hence booked a case against them in keesara PS.
2) Vanasthalipuram SHE team:-
On 10-08-2018 at evening hours our Vanasthalipuram SHE team conducted a DECOY operation at Sanjeevani Park area Gurram Guda area, and apprehended red-handedly 10 person’s while they creating nuisance at that public places and teasing girls/women with lewd comments. Hence booked a case against them in Meerpet PS. All the accused persons were awarded punishment of Swatch bharath for 03 days at Meerpet PS by the Hon”ble Special Court at LB nagar along with fine.
3) LB Nagar SHE team:-
On 23-08-2018 at evening hours our LB nagar SHE team conducted a DECOY operation at Chaithanyapuri bus stop and apprehended one Varikuppala Shiva,s/o:Linga Swamy,age:19,occ:student,R/o:10-1-102,8/A,Vijay nagar colony,Saroornagar,Dilsukh nagar. red-handedly while teasing girls/women with lewd comments. Hence booked a case against him in Saroornagar PS.
In addition to the above, total 38 Eve teasers were caught by Rachakonda SHE teams in decoy operations and through Whatsapp/SMUC complaints from different areas of Rachakonda while they are teasing girls at different Hotspots like Metro train/ junctions/ Bus stops/Working Places and colleges of the Rachakonda area. All are booked under petty cases/FIRs and counseled by professional counselors of BHUMIKA WOMEN’S COLLECTIVE in the presence of their family members. Minors will be counseled by Chief Consultant Psychologist.
