Hyderabad, Jan.2 (PMI): The Rachakonda Police has begun “My Vehicle Is Safe Project” (Autos data Digitalization).
With an aim to ensure the safety of passengers, especially women and children passengers, the project was launched on September 5 last, with the support of ThinkMax Solutions (in Malkajgiri Zone, Bhongir and Yadadri Traffic P.S limits) and ValvData Private limited (in L.B Nagar Zone and Chotuppal Traffic P.S Limits). Under the project the details of Auto owners and drivers will be gathered, digitalized and sticker with a QR code will be generated after scrutiny of concerned documents and the said sticker will be pasted on the front and rear sides of the Vehicles and Drivers Seat back side.
Auto registration is being conducted at Uppal (Traffic P.S), Kushaiguda Traffic P.S limits and L.B Nagar and Vanasthalipuram Traffic Police Stations. Passengers while engaging the Autos can scan the QR code using QR code reader app and the details they receive can be forwarded to their well wishers for information, if any passengers forgot their belongings can easily be complained through www.safeautotaxi.com and safegaadi.com.
This practice will keep the activity of driver under control and despite of any danger is expected the same details can be forwarded to nearby Police station and location of passenger will be shared. Passengers can also inform through Dial 100/ WhatsApp/Police Control Room for immediate assistance of Police in entire city limits. The project “My Vehicle Is Safe” is proved to be successful and so far 2,232 autos are being digitalized.
The Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat, IPS, interacted with the drivers, who came for the registration of their vehicles and they revealed that the “My Auto is Safe” project is very helpful to them and as well as to the citizens. Whenever any citizen engaging the autos asking for the registration of the Autos, with My Vehicle is Safe Project and they said there are some incidents where the citizens refused to board the Autos in which the My Vehicle is Safe Registration sticker were not found.
