Hyderabad May 15 (PMI): Rachakonda Police has initiated a program to support the pregnant women with a nutrition kit and instill confidence among them as they are prone to infection and in danger of passing the virus to baby.
The beneficiaries are identified through the local PHC. So far PHCs in Jawaharnagar, Malkajgiri, Yacharam PS limits have been served. Today ie on 15th May 2020, Smt Anasuya Bharadwaj has come forward to serve the nutrition on kits to pregnant ladies of Keesara PHC on the occasion of her birthday. Sri Mahesh Bhagwat IPS CP Rachakonda who participated in the program appreciated the kind gesture of Smt Anasuya. He advised the ladies to avoid going out, to ensure healthy diet and to reach out to Police on Covid control number 9490617234 for any kind of assistance. He added that the Mahindra alyte and Srinivasa Tour and Travel’s services can be used by the preganant ladies who have been serving many such instances. He advised the ladies to be wary of relatives or neighbours coming from other districts or states and in case of any suspicion dial 100 or Covid control room. Ms Rakshita Murthy DCP Malkajgiri who also attended the program addressed the ladies and advised them to take good care of themselves during the time of lockdown. Nearly 100 pregnant ladies were distributed nutrition kits with ragi powder, dates, milk, eggs and fruits. Shilpavalli, Addl dcp admin, Shivkjmar acp kushaiguda, Narender Insp Keesara, Dr sarita PHC, Dr Avinash, Jeevan volunteer were also present. (Press Media of India)
