Moscow, March 22: Russian President Vladimir Putin has assured Iran of continued support, stating that Moscow will remain a “loyal friend and reliable partner” during challenging times.
In a message sent to Iran’s new Supreme Leader and President, Putin conveyed his solidarity on the occasion of the first day of the Iranian New Year (Nowruz), according to a statement issued by the Kremlin.
The message was addressed to Mojtaba Khamenei and Masoud Pezeshkian, in which the Russian leader expressed hope that the Iranian people would successfully overcome the current challenges facing the country.
