Punjab’ۃOct 04 (Crime Bureau-PMI) In a shocking incident, a father in Firozpur district, Punjab, brutally assaulted his daughter over suspicions about her behavior. Believing she was involved with someone, he tied her hands behind her back and threw her into a canal.

Her mother cried out, “My child… my child…” as she tried to stop him, but he ignored her pleas. Following the complaint filed by his wife, the police arrested the accused.

According to details, Surjit Singh lives with his wife and daughter in Firozpur. Suspecting his daughter of improper conduct, he resorted to this cruel act.
