Hyderabad: Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman Professor Kondandaram has made his political entry. Though we have hearing about the professor, who was spearheading the separate Telangana state movement, making political foray. There has been not much hype and fanfare about its formation and other things.
Today, they have got a formal approval from Election Commission for naming the political party as Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS). With the approval in hand, the party supporters and members have started feverishly working on formally bringing TJS before the public.
As part of the process to take the political party to the people of Telangana, its founder Prof Kondandaram will make an official announcement on April 2. On April 4, he will unfurl the party flag. On occasion of the Telangana Jana Samiti formation, a massive public rally is being planned on April 29. The party leaders will soon make an announcement about the venue of the public rally which could be either in Hyderabad or Warangal.
It may be recalled, Kodandaram sent a postcard to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, asking the latter to take steps to fill all vacant posts in various departments and release job recruitment calendar. Apart from postcard campaign, which TJS chief claims to be a big success, he earlier went on a tour across the US and addressed Telangana people, living in America.
