Hyderabad, President Ram Nath Kovind today arrived at Begumpet Airport here at 3.30 pm and will address the concluding ceremony of the five-day World Telugu Conference (WTC) at LB Stadium in the evening.
Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Deputy Chief Ministers Mahmood Ali, Kadiam Srihari, ministers, party leaders and officials welcomed the President at the airport. The president received ceremonial salute by Air Force.
President Kovind will be the chief guest at the concluding program five-day WTC at the LB stadium. The president was ought to reach Begumpet earlier at 2.55 pm but was late by 35 minutes to descend at the Begumpet airport. He took a special IAF flight from Delhito reach Hyderabad and moved to Raj Bhavan after taking salute at 4.05 pm.
As per the schedule, the President will leave Raj Bhavan at 6 pm to reach LB Stadium for the valedictory of the awe inspiring World Telugu Conference till 7.15 pm. He will get back to Raj Bhavan at 7.25 pm and will dine with the Governor at 8 pm and stay for the night. On Wednesday, the President will meet VIPs at the Raj Bhavan from 9.30 am to 10 am. Kovind will also visit Hussain Sagar and offer floral tributes to Lord Buddha statue at about 10.15 am and will get back to Begumpet Airport at 11.15 am. He will take the special flight for Delhiand returns to Rashtrapathi Bhavan at 1.55 pm on Wednesday, according to informed sources.
