Karimnagar, April 18 (PMI): Minister for Transport Ponnam Prabhakar has demanded the Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) to tell what it’s government at the Centre has done for the development of Telangana during the last ten years.
Addressing the Congress party’s preparatory meeting for Lok Sabha polls at
Alugunoor village of Karimnagar district, the Minister alleged that the union government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had utterly failed in fulfilling the promises made in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act and it had showed discrimination towards Telangana in allocation of funds and projects.
“Not only the BJP government at the Centre, but also the BRS government has not done anything for the Telangana, including Karimnagar district. Former MP and BRS Karimnagar Parliament candidate Vinod Kumar has no right to seek votes in the elections,” Ponnam said.
He said the Congress government was implementing all guarantees one by one in Telangana and assured that it would definitely provide Rs.500 bonus to the paddy farmers soon.(PMI)
