Hyderabad, Alleging that the ruling TRS party was misusing power indiscriminately in Singareni elections. The TRS party was purchasing votes, former MP Ponnam Prabhakar urged Singareni workers to teach a fitting lesson to the TRS party thinking that the elections were not confined to Singareni but belongs to entire Telangana people.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday along with Nagarkurnool MP Nandi Yellaiah, Ponnam asked the people not to believe in Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s words as he failed to fulfil the assurances given by him. The Chief Minister was making new assurances to gain political mileage in Singareni elections, Ponnam quipped. He thrown challenge at the Chief Minister to make a statement that he will not field TRS candidates in 2019 elections if failed to fulfil the assurances made by him.
