Hyderabad, Referring to the challenge of IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao to TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy that he would take ‘political sanyas’ if the TRS lost 2019 elections, Deputy CLP leader in the Council Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy asked KTR to come to Bhadrachalam or Yadadri and make a pledge that he would win election without misusing power and money.
Speaking at the Assembly media hall on Thursday, Ponguleti faulted KTR for speaking as he wished against the Congress and demanded him to withdraw his pungent word ‘Gabbu’ against the century old Indian National Congress. He said not only the TRS government pushed the State into debt trap, but also throwing challenges to the main Opposition party.
Ponguleti said there was no mention of the State in the Union budget and the State was meted out injustice in the allocations. There was also no mention of assurances made to the State in AP Re-organization Act. “There was also no mention of Coach Factory at Kazipet though the Centre allocated Rs 1 lakh crore to the Railways. There were also no funds to the backward districts. The State was meted out injustice in the Union budget due to inefficiency of the TRS government”, he claimed
