Hyderabad, While providing security and safety to the public by Rachakonda police, installation of CCTV cameras was being done under the limits of Yadadri Bhongir zone with coordination of local donors under Nenu Saitham & Community Policing program.
Accordingly, on Tuesday 109 CCTV cameras were installed by Mahesh M Bhagwat, IPS, in 11 villages under the limits of Athmakur mandal police station of Yadadri Bhongir zone. Out of the 20 villages in the mandal, at present 11 villages, including the mandal headquarters, are under the coverage of CCTV cameras, while the preparation for installation of CCTV cameras in the remaining villages was also in progress.
Since it was more useful in maintaining the safety and security in the area, some more people in the mandal also voluntarily came forward to donate money for installation of more CCTV cameras. On observing the interest of common public, precautionary measures were being taken by the Police in respect of public safety.
Alair MLA Gongidi Sunitha Mahender Reddy assured to grant funds from MLA’s quota for completion of the task. In Bhuvangiri Yadadri District, all Mandal headquarters are connected with district headquarters through CCTV cameras.
