Use of DJ systems and bursting of firecrackers during processions will be prohibited,
Hyderabad, Sept. 12 (Najaf Ali Shoukat-PMI) The South Zone Police conducted a coordination meeting on Friday at Sana Garden, Charminar PS limits, to review preparations for the upcoming Milad-un-Nabi celebrations.
The meeting was attended by the Additional DCP South Zone, ACPs, SHOs, officials from GHMC, electricity and R&B departments, along with nearly 100–150 event organizers and volunteers.
According to the DCP South Zone Sneha Mehra IPS, around 100 organizers have been identified for the festivities, including 50–60 for food distribution, 12 for Jalsa programmes, and 38 for religious processions. Of the processions, 21 will be held within the South Zone, while 17 will come from other zones.
Police officials stressed that the festival should be conducted peacefully and on time. They also announced that the use of DJ systems and bursting of firecrackers during processions will be prohibited, to avoid inconvenience to the public and to maintain communal harmony.(pressmediaofindia.com)
