Hyderabad, Oct.29 (PMI): As part of the Police Commemoration Day events, Cyberabad Police organized a 10K Cycle Rally on October 29 along with SCSC & Hyderabad Cyclists group.
The rally was flagged off by DCP(Madhapur)K Shilpavalli along with other senior police officials at Cyberabad CP Office, Gachibowli. Close to 100 cycling enthusiasts participated in the rally, besides senior police officials. Shilpavalli actively participated in the rally, by joining the cycling participants and completed 10 km ride successfully starting from Cyberabad Police Commissioner’s office to HCU Main gate and return to the starting point.
After the rally, she thanked Ravinder Nandanuri of HCG and all the Hyderabad Cyclists Group participants and other enthusiasts. DCP Shilpavalli appreciated one cyclist Narendar Rao, who is aged 68, cycles every day for 50 km, who also participated in today’s rally. The youngest cyclist was Pranav, who has completed 7km with all his enthusiasm while he took all precautions of a regular cyclist by wearing a proper gear.
Other cycling enthusiasts shared their success stories and DCP Shilpavalli said it is very important for all the citizens to embrace any sport to lead an active, healthy life to beat the side effects of sedentary lifestyle.
