Hyderabad’ November 7  (PMI): The Banjarahills police have registered a cheating case against a person who cheated by believing that he would get profits if he invested in the hotel business. If we go into the details…a businessman named Nandi Rajesh of Gollapally mandal of Karimnagar district was recently introduced to a person named Mohammad Abdul Qadeer. Rajesh invested Rs.6 lakhs in February this year as Qadir believed that if they both put up a hotel named ‘R Inn’ at Banjara Hills Road No. 12, they would get good profits. An MoU was made that each would have a 50 percent share. But Qadir promised to close the hotel within fifteen days of its opening and to return Rs.1.20 lakhs in addition to Rajesh’s Rs.6 lakhs

However, after months of not returning the money, he recently sold the hotel to other people. The victim Rajesh complained to the Banjarahills police that he had set up a hotel with the money taken from him as per a pre-planned plan and sold it to other people at a high rate and cheated him and was running away without paying the money taken. To this extent, a case was registered against the accused Mohammad Abdul Qadeer under Section 318(4) of BNS and investigation was carried out.(PMI)
