Hyderabad, April 11 (Shoukat-Press media of india-PMI)): It is well known that the phone tapping case in Telangana is causing a lot of sensation. The news of phones of political leaders being tapped has created ripples across the State. Several Police officials were arrested in the case so far and several key points have come to light in their remand report.
For the first time, Hyderabad CP Kothakota Srinivas Reddy reacted on the ongoing inquiry into the issue. He said the phone tapping case was being investigated in a transparent manner and added that all the details would be revealed to public when the time comes. He said a statement on the notices of political leaders would be made soon. The police investigation into the phone tapping issue has been going on for the past one month. The case is taking a turn every day. The present Congress government has ordered an inquiry into allegations that phones of Opposition leaders were tapped during the previous BRS government. The phone tapping issue came to light last month with the arrest of former DSP Praneeth Rao for allegedly tapping the phones illegally, destroying computer systems and official data. During the interrogation of Praneeth Rao, the police obtained crucial information. (PMI)
