Background of the Attack:
This statement comes in the wake of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, a renowned tourist destination in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. In the attack, terrorists indiscriminately opened fire, resulting in the tragic loss of 28 lives and injuries to several others. Security forces promptly cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
