Hyderabad, Jan.28 (PMI): Anjani Kumar, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City issued preventive detention order against Vade Nagaraju, (23), Driver, Jeevanguda, near Ram Mandir, Yenkepalle, Moinabad Mandal, snatcher of SR Nagar PS on December 22, 2018 under the provision of Act No.1 of 1986.
A press note said today that the accused Nagaraju has been indulging in a series of offences of snatchings and extortion in the limits of Hyderabad and Cyberabad Police Commissionerates to make easy money and to lead lavish life. He has committed six offences and has been creating large scale fear and panic among the general public and acting in a manner prejudicial to the maintenance of public order apart from disturbing the peace, tranquillity and social harmony in the society.
SR Nagar Police made strenuous efforts and arrested the accused Nagaraju on 29.10.2018 and remanded him to judicial custody. The preventive detention order was executed on him on 19.1.2019 and he was lodged in Central Prison, Chanchalguda. (PMI)
