Hyderabad, June 26 (PMI): Municipal Administration IT and industries minister KT Rama Rao today claimed that only Telangana state is offering free two bedroom houses for the poor in the country.
Along with ministers Srinivas Yadav, Mahamood Ali and others KTR inaugurated 330 units of 2 BHK apartments near Necklace Road facing Hussain Sagar in the city here.
The minister appealed that the beneficiaries should protect themselves by focusing on clean and green environment. He stated that he feels proud to give free houses for the poor free of cost to live in a self respect manner. Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao vision of poor housing coming true now with this facility. The buildings of 2 BHK have modern facilities, green environment and 16 shops to get some income for maintenance he said.
No other state in India gives such houses for the poor in the country, KTR said. The KCR Government is spending Rs 45000 Cr for Welfare of people. We are trying our best to cater to the poor people needs through several programs he said.
Srinivas Yadav praised that the government of KCR is creating wonders by such schemes. No other states offer such help to the poor in the country except Telangana he added. (PMI)
