Hyderabad/ Cyberabad Aug 2 (PMI): With the call of Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad Shri. V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, call that ‘‘Plasma donation is a social responsibility. Plasma donors are equal to God as they were saving lives. Society will be grateful for the plasma donors’’. Donating blood/plasma is a noble cause and requested to help the needy people by donating the blood. By donating the blood one will help 3 people’s lives. Three needy persons will get RBC, Plasma, Platelets.
Many successfully treated Covid patients (the victims who suffered with corona and recovered) are come forwarding and donating their plasma and saving others’ lives.
Cyberabad Covid control room daily getting requests for blood and plasma requirement. The people who recovered from positive symptoms to negative symptoms should donate plasma and save other lives. Fear should go from people. One can recover the plasma within 72 hours.
Within a week after the inception of the portal donateplasma.scsc.in. Cyberabad police collected 1000 people data base of donors. It is not so easy to match the blood of donors and recipient. Cyberabad police formed separate teams and co-ordinating each other to categorize blood groups and help the needy people.
Till Yesterday 148 members donated Plasma and today 14 People donated Plasma total 162 people till today donated Plasma and saved 300 lives in critical and emergency condition.
Commissioner of Police Cyberabad, V.C. Sajjanar, IPS. Requesting all the Covid-19 Warriors who have fought the virus successfully & who were symptomatic should come forward to donate Plasma. Their 500 ml Plasma will save two persons & will bring cheerfulness in the families.
