In Odisha, five Naxals were killed during anti naxal operations by Special Operation Group (SOG)Jawans.
Their bodies were recovered from the forest near PAPALURU village under KAALIMELA police station area of Malkangiri District on Monday morning.
The SOG jawans had gone to the area on a combing operation last night. There was heavy exchange of fire between Jawans and Naxals.
The SOG jawans again searched the area this morning and recovered five bodies of Naxals and huge quantities of arms and ammunition from the spot.
